Privacy Policy
This policy explains what information ScaleQuix collects through this website and in the course of providing our services, how that information is used, who it may be shared with, and the choices available to you.
1. Scope of This Policy
This policy applies to the ScaleQuix website at scalequix.com, to enquiries made through it, and to information we handle while providing services to our clients. In this policy, "ScaleQuix", "we", and "us" refer to the business operated by Hatim Tinwala from Mhow, Indore, Madhya Pradesh, India.
It should be read alongside our Terms of Service and Refund & Cancellation Policy.
2. Information We Collect
Information you provide
We collect information you give us directly, including when you submit a contact or enquiry form, request a proposal, book a consultation, enrol in a course, or make a payment. This typically includes:
- Name and business name
- Email address and phone number
- Website address and details about your business
- The content of your message or enquiry
- Billing details required to raise an invoice
We also collect information shared with us by email, phone, or WhatsApp during an enquiry or an ongoing engagement.
Information collected automatically
When you visit this website, certain technical information is recorded automatically, including your IP address, browser type and version, device type, operating system, referring page, pages viewed, and time spent on the site.
Client project information
While delivering services, we may receive access to your business accounts, content, brand materials, performance data, and similar information. This is covered in Section 8.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Respond to enquiries and provide requested information or proposals
- Deliver, manage, and support the services you have engaged us for
- Issue invoices, process payments, and maintain financial records
- Communicate about projects, schedules, approvals, and reporting
- Operate, maintain, secure, and improve this website
- Understand how visitors use the site so we can improve its content and structure
- Meet legal, tax, and record-keeping obligations
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own independent marketing purposes.
5. Analytics
We use analytics services, including Google Analytics, to understand how visitors find and use this website. These services collect information such as pages visited, session duration, approximate location, traffic source, and device type.
This information is used in aggregate to improve the site. It is processed by the analytics provider under its own privacy terms, and we do not use it to identify individual visitors.
6. Advertising and Marketing Platforms
We may run advertising campaigns on platforms such as Google Ads and Meta, and may use their measurement tools on this website to understand which campaigns lead to enquiries.
These tools may set cookies or record events when you visit or interact with the site. The platforms process this data under their own privacy policies, and you can usually adjust ad personalisation through your account settings on those platforms.
7. How We Share Information
We share information only where it is necessary, and only with:
- Service providers that support our operations, such as website hosting, email, analytics, cloud storage, communication, and project management tools
- Payment processors, specifically Razorpay, for processing payments and refunds
- Advertising and marketing platforms, where required to run or measure campaigns
- Professional advisers, such as accountants, where reasonably required
- Authorities or regulators, where disclosure is required by law or to respond to a legitimate legal request
These providers are permitted to use the information only for the purpose of providing their service to us.
8. Client Account Access and Data
Delivering our services often requires access to client-owned accounts — websites, hosting, advertising accounts, analytics, and social profiles.
This access is used solely to perform the agreed work. Credentials and access are handled confidentially in line with our Terms of Service, and access is removed or returned on request at the end of an engagement.
Where a client's own systems collect personal data from their customers, the client remains responsible for that data and for their own privacy obligations.
9. Payment Information
Online payments are processed through Razorpay. Card numbers, CVV codes, UPI PINs, and banking credentials are entered directly into Razorpay's systems and are not collected or stored by ScaleQuix.
We retain transaction records such as payment references, amounts, dates, and invoice details for accounting and compliance purposes.
Please note: ScaleQuix will never ask you to share passwords, full card numbers, CVV codes, OTPs, or net-banking credentials by email, phone, or message.
10. Data Security
We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect information from unauthorised access, loss, or misuse. These include encrypted connections, access controls, limiting access to those who need it, and using reputable service providers.
No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. If a security incident materially affects your information, we will take appropriate steps to address it and notify affected parties where required.
11. Data Retention
We keep personal information only for as long as it is needed for the purpose it was collected.
Enquiry information is generally retained while the enquiry is active and for a reasonable period afterwards. Client project records and financial records are retained for longer where required for accounting, tax, or legal purposes. Analytics data is retained according to the settings of the analytics platform.
When information is no longer required, it is deleted or anonymised.
12. Your Rights and Choices
Subject to applicable law, you may ask us to:
- Confirm what personal information we hold about you
- Provide a copy of that information
- Correct information that is inaccurate or incomplete
- Delete information we no longer have a legitimate reason to keep
- Stop sending you promotional communications
To make a request, email info@scalequix.com. We may need to verify your identity before acting, and we will respond within a reasonable period. Some information may need to be retained where we have a legal or contractual obligation to keep it.
13. Children's Privacy
Our services are intended for businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
If you believe a child has provided information to us, please contact us and we will take appropriate steps to remove it.
14. Links to Other Websites
This website may link to third-party websites and platforms. Those sites operate under their own privacy policies, and we are not responsible for their content or data practices.
15. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy to reflect changes in our services, tools, or legal requirements. The current version is always published on this page, with the revision date shown at the top.
Where changes are significant, we will take reasonable steps to make them clear. We encourage you to review this page from time to time.
